Gazprom says Germany boosts gas purchases by 48% in Feb 1–10
MOSCOW, Feb 12 (PRIME) -- Germany has boosted purchases of Russian natural gas by 47.8% on the year in the first 10 days of February, Gazprom said on Friday in a statement published on its Telegram channel.
“Data of Gas Infrastructure Europe shows that the gas filling level of underground storages in Germany fell to 37%. Germany is the largest consumer of Gazprom’s gas, and it rose procurement of Russian gas by 47.8% in the first 10 days of February as compared with the same period of the previous year,” the company said.
